General Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 20.10.2026 · This version is a translation. The German version is legally binding.
These terms apply to all purchases on simigo.ch. Your contract is with Travelit, Simone Alibo, Klybeckstrasse 141, 4057 Basel, Schweiz. If you have any questions, you can reach us at support@simigo.ch.
1. What we sell
We sell prepaid data packages for use abroad, delivered as an eSIM. The packages include mobile internet, but no phone number, no calls and no SMS.
The connection runs over the networks of local partners. Coverage and speed depend on the network in question. We cannot guarantee reception at every location at all times.
2. Requirements
You need an eSIM-compatible device that is not locked to a network provider. Please check this before you buy, for example with our device check.
Orders may be placed by adults and by minors with the consent of their legal representative.
3. Conclusion of the contract and prices
The contract is concluded as soon as your payment is confirmed. The price shown when you placed your order applies.
All prices are in Swiss francs. We are not subject to VAT and therefore do not show any VAT.
4. Payment
Payments are processed by our payment service provider Stripe. You can pay with the payment methods shown on the payment page, for example credit card or TWINT. We do not receive or store your card details.
5. Delivery
After payment, you will receive the QR code and the installation details by email and on your personal order page, usually within a few minutes.
If we cannot deliver an eSIM you have paid for, we will refund the full amount to you.
6. Validity period, installation and use
- The package details state when the validity period starts: either from installation or from the first connection in the destination country.
- Unused data expires at the end of the validity period.
- An eSIM must be installed within the stated redemption period, otherwise it expires.
- A QR code can only be installed once. If you delete the eSIM from your device, it may become unusable. In that case, a replacement is not possible.
Make sure that data roaming is turned off on your existing SIM. We do not cover any charges billed by your existing provider.
7. Top-ups
Where we offer this, you can top up the same eSIM with additional data packages. The same terms apply to top-ups. A top-up you have purchased is available immediately.
8. Refunds
In Switzerland, there is no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. We voluntarily refund:
- an eSIM that has not yet been installed, if you ask us to at support@simigo.ch within 14 days of purchase,
- any purchase that we cannot deliver, or where there is a technical fault on our side or with our partners that we cannot resolve.
Apart from this, no refund is possible after installation or for top-ups you have purchased. We always refund to the payment method you used.
9. Permitted use
You may only use the eSIM for lawful purposes and not for spam, attacks on other systems or resale. On unlimited packages, the speed may be reduced once you have used the data volume stated for the package.
10. Liability
We are liable for damage that we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. This applies in particular to outages or restrictions of our partners' networks and to indirect damage.
11. Customer account
You sign in to the customer area with a link that we send to your email address. Protect access to your inbox and do not share the link to your order page: anyone who knows it can see your eSIM.
12. Data protection
How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes
We may amend these terms. Your purchase is governed by the version published on simigo.ch at the time of your order.
14. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Travelit, Simone Alibo. Mandatory places of jurisdiction for consumers remain unaffected.
