Ist mein Handy eSIM-fähig?
Fast alle iPhones ab 2018 und viele neuere Android-Handys können eSIM. Such dein Modell oder mach den Test direkt am Gerät.
Der sichere Test: EID anzeigen
- Öffne die Telefon-App, als würdest du jemanden anrufen.
- Tippe *#06# ein.
- Erscheint eine Zeile mit EID, kann dein Handy eSIM.
Steht dort nur IMEI ohne EID, hat dein Gerät keine eSIM.
Zweite Bedingung: kein SIM-Lock
Das Handy darf nicht auf einen Anbieter gesperrt sein. In der Schweiz gekaufte Geräte sind in aller Regel frei.
iPhone: Einstellungen, Allgemein, Info. Bei «Netzbetreibersperre» muss «Keine SIM-Beschränkungen» stehen.
Android: Wenn du schon einmal die SIM-Karte eines anderen Anbieters benutzt hast, ist das Gerät frei.

Die Liste dient zur Orientierung und ist nicht vollständig. Einzelne Länderversionen können abweichen. Verbindlich ist der EID-Test.

Nur Modelle mit Mobilfunk («Wi-Fi + Cellular»).
